Super high quality American-made 30 quart cast aluminum pressure cooker/canner that can go to 5, 10, or 15 pounds of pressure and thus is suitable for all types of canning. Includes two "shelves" for stacking the cans above each other in layers. It's quite large, which makes for far fewer runs when canning in bulk from the garden. It has no rubber gasket -- the sealing mechanism is simply to use the six thumb screws to tighten down the beautifully precision-machined lid onto the base, for a tight fit. It's very easy to use and lightweight for its size (about 18" tall and 13" wide). In very good shape, but the interior has a bit of grey/black aluminum oxidation due to leakage of vinegar from glass canning jars during processing. It doesn't seem to affect its operation or the cans themselves. You should read the instructions, which are included, to make sure you understand how to start the process (7 minute warm up before putting on the pressure valve) and then afterward allow pressure to slowly reduce to zero before removing the pressure valve and opening the unit. These sell for $550-650 + shipping new. A terrific pressure canner but I've stopped canning my own from the garden and am hoping to find someone local that can use it.
