Antique carved oak Victorian-era high chair with fold-down tray, footrest, and wheels. It can easily be folded down into a lower position (as in the 5th photo). The rear wheels only touch the ground when it's in the low position, so it seems to be designed to roll around then but not when being used as a high chair. The seat is caned and in good shape. The tray surface veneer is buckled and either needs to be taken off and reglued or replaced. Otherwise, it's in good working condition. An ancestor raised 17 kids on this chair, but I'm guessing the caning has been redone since them, and it was probably also refinished at one point. In fact the buckling surface of the tray probably isn't original, but I could be wrong. Since we're moving and nobody in the family seems to want it, we're hoping to find it a new home.
